Since I left the military I have always been stubborn to see a doctor, get medical help, treatment etc. after a recommendation from someone who I highly respect, I decided to give it a shot. I want to start with the staff before I speak of Dr. Angelo. The staff has been very inviting and respectful since the first day I walked in. They made me feel comfortable without even having to try. I started meeting with Dr Sambunaris three times a week. It’s comforting seeing the same support staff every time I walk in. Dr. Sambunaris has been great. He’s confidential, understands his craft, but more importantly he understands who he is dealing with. That’s why I gave 5 stars. The bottom line is if you have any doubts, don’t. I did it and it’s done a lot for my life.

Everyone with whom I've had contact has been professional, friendly, caring, and efficient. Michelle and Brandon even went above and beyond to help me navigate!
Dr. Sam not only listened to me but acted on my opinions about my problems. It may seem obvious that he would heed a patient, but I've had different experiences with other doctors.

This entire experience has been eye-opening for me. My wife found the link for me, and with a great deal of reticence I contacted Doc’s facility. Some background: I dealt with stuff for a long time without saying anything (typical Naval Aviator), but after working for my boss my first tour in AFG (a Danish 1-star) I decided to be truthful on my post deployment health reassessment surveys. That promptly got me sent to Walter Reed, diagnosed etc etc. typical litany of meds followed, none of which helped. Post retirement was worse, especially with the VA. Doc and his office have been nothing short of amazing. I have already felt a change through the treatment program. Don’t expect a quick fix, or do, your choice, but I visualize this as a marathon and not a sprint. So far, I’m tracking.

Wow, that is a hard question as I don’t know where to begin. I will start from the time I called to make an appointment and inquire about Dr Sambunaris. Michelle who answered the phone had the nicest and sweetest tone to her voice that somehow made me feel a little bit more at ease. She got me the appointment and I thought my heart immediately felt better in a sense. Meeting Dr Sambunaris was kind of like running into an old friend. I felt like he was a very real person and would shoot straight from the hip which is what we needed to hear. My son has only seen him one time and already he felt absolutely comfortable with him. I am very excited to continue Jackson’s therapy and be able to watch him become the happy kid that he is on the inside. I honestly feel something got us here at the right time.. I am extremely grateful. Oh, the front staff was very nice as well. So overall, it’s got 5 stars from me.

He is a great doctor - takes time to explain everything and really knows about the medications he prescribes. My life is completely different now that my anxiety is under control. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a solution for your anxiety.

It was absolutely a positive experience. He is very nice and very approachable. He is very good at his job. You don't realize how much information he gets out of you, you don't feel like you're talking to a psychiatrist at all.

I suffered from depression and went to several doctors over a period of 10 years. Dr. Sambunaris helped me when no other one could. Anyone suffering from depression knows what it's like to spend time feeling hopeless. There is hope. He is on time with appointments, knowledgeable, and a genuinely good doctor.

The thing that bothered me the most was admitting that I had ADHD. But with the help of the team at the Clinic, I feel like my life is getting back on track - at work AND at home. I think of Dr. Sambunaris as my ADHD coach, just like I get coaching in other aspects of my professional life!
