You have been on a million diets and vow to stop, but you feel such a compulsion that you can’t resist the urges. Thoughts of food preoccupy your mind, like a food obsession, until you finally give in to a binge episode. The good news is that there is help!
Binge Eating Disorder (BED) is more common than you think. You might have this eating disorder if you get cravings to keep on eating a lot of food in a short period of time, even when your stomach is telling you it is full.
BED is more common than breast cancer, HIV, and schizophrenia.
BED is often misdiagnosed or exists alongside other disorders, making it challenging to treat effectively. If you believe you have struggled in the past with:
